Here's three [3] points of contention the casual rational citizen may have with America's Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009 that have yet to be shouted out at one of those delightful little "town hall" dog-n-pony shows.

As always, the full text and history of the bill, it's sponsors and related legislation can be accessed and tracked at GovTrack.US.

  • I have had to go to the E.R. for everything since 2001. I will take any help I can get. Long live the public option.

  • I feel you, and would likely vote in favor of same if given the chance. The bill itself really doesn't have much outright "bad" in it; except that it is fairly weak and will provide the insurance Combine with a guaranteed clientele for which they will no doubt provide crappy "coverage" in the end. I'm still recommending a "dine-n-dash" approach for outpatients.

  • By McCarthy's Ghost, my second witty rejoinder (in which i implied that i have been working as an operative and had diligently reported you to the proper Authority as a "dissident peasant" at least a year ago) was also stolen!

  • The T00bz ate my rejoinder, which was witty and liberally spiced with references to Ray Davies and the Myth Of Mob Rule.

  • He's President Risky Fix!

  • Courtesy of Clutch!

  • lol @ 1:53 "i was born where i come from" "still trying to get a fix" film @ 11!

  • I am solidly for universal healthcare; i believe it's one of the major obligations of a society to guarantee unrestricted medical service to its citizenry. Then again, i'm an actual socialist, so that's kinda de rigour; as is a deep hatred of all things National Socialist, which is all our federal fascism will ever produce, since that is its nature. Best we could hope for is a dim shadow of National Health at its worst, i fear. How is UK NH these days, BTW?
