check out http://www.jaguaramplification.com for info on the amplifier. Comparison of the new MXR Silicon Fuzz pedal and an ANALOG MAN Silicon BC-108 pedal. The MXR had alot more beefy low end than the AM, which generally means it will disappear in the mix, but the buffer swictch kicks it in the butt and may get it out over the top live. I dig the analogman pedal more because its a tad more earthy and has an inspiring vibe to it....but they're both COOL!! I used an SG Les Paul and the Jaguar Junior.

  • in my opinion, i like mxr more. it sounds more richer than analogman...

  • I really can't make my mind up. They both sound fantastic for different reasons. This could prove expensive. hahaha

  • @Noseheros just like the MXR phase 90 custom shop script model is the same thing as the EVH model.

  • 108 is the winner

  • @Dioxido87 Id really like to see this comparison as well!!!

  • @21zband honestly, the mxr classic 108 is pretty much a hendrix signature fuzz face in a box with a battery door, LED light, 9v adapter and buffer to use with a wah...and it's cheaper

  • @neomedcihan83 sgs were made by lespaul

  • @neomedcihan83 because when the SG first came out it was called a les paul as well. les paul (the guitarist) didnt like it so they re named it the SG.

  • which one is best suited for hendriix mxr, dunlop standard fuzz face or the hendrix fuzz face.

  • intro feedbacks are so cool but i don't understand meaning of the word that SG Les Paul... it looks like SG..why do you say les paul?..(BTW color is bloody nice..it's a very sexy yellow)

  • Well, the mxr with the buffer on and even off, gets a brighter sound and even louder

  • Dude you do the best demos out there. Great comparison! analogman wins imo, more grit and better dynamics, though the MXR wasn't half bad actually.
