Yeah I still have it. It's a long story , but I sent it to a repair place to have that altera chip reballed, but he didn't have any luck with it, so then i bought a new circuit board on ebay and had the repair shop replace it. Now the monitor won't turn on - it just has two lights blinking indicating that it's initializing. So I don't know if it's the replacement board that is defective, or if the repair guy messed something else up.

My friend just got one for $65 and fixed the strobing issue. Do you still have yours?

too bad that monitor will be dead after one year! i challenge anyone to find an XHD3000 that has lasted two years. great monitor - until it starts strobing and dies and gateway won't do a recall or anything without us having to sue them. it's a good review, and i would have given a similar one if I had reviewed it when it first came out. but now we all know it turned out to be a lemon. you should modify your review or at least the description to reflect that.

@YouHaveMetYourMaker There not as easy to make, I have 3 x 1920x1200 monitors and im upgrading to one 30 inch. Theres a big diffrence in the build of a 24 inch to a 30inch.
