~~This is fantastic. Gurtrude Stein wrote words like this and he then went on to paint, having been inspired by her! She bought his first works as to help him survive. Lucky, on my mothers French side they too, at the time, bought. Two of the paintings you show are still in the family. As I find myself able, I love being in our gallery alone and reading her books and looking at his work, for they really are one in the same! Genius.~~ xxAxx
