  • This is the single most important piece of music I ever heard. At the age of 15, I bought the 7" single of 'Life's What You Make It' and was stunned by this b-side. It taught me how beautiful and touching music can be and set me on a life-long voyage of musical discovery. Twenty-five years later and I still feel the immense power of this piece. I genuinely hope that those of you hearing it for the first time, will get as much from it and it's legacy.

Thank you Talk Talk - you made a difference.

  • No words can discribe this piece of music ....... and that voice !! AMAZING. (Anybody ever notice that laugh between 2.28 and 2.31.)

  • Intense beauty, Faultless & the greatest b-side ever xx

  • An incredible piece of music - better than most bands' entire career output - just hid away on a B-side ... couldn't believe what I heard the first time I flipped over the single. If there is a prize for the most uncommercial band of the 1980s, these guy win it.

  • I found it impossible to study in college when I would play this. Forever thankful I was around whent Mark and the boys made music. I idea he stopped makes it so beautiful.

  • Shivers....

  • its about time mark hollis/talk talk were in the rock and roll music hall of fame with the fab four the beatles.

  • Mark Hollis's voice is to my ears, what a honey lemsip is to a sore throat...

  • @Kinshasa9200 Yup we invent it and they feed it back to us.
