has to do with the shutter speed of the camera taking the video. Just like you can see spoked car wheels stop and go backwards on a car if it is going the right speed.  the rotor on the helicopter does not stop nor start turning in the opposite direction. Just an optical illusion.

I prefer the 500 or the 530 because they have tail rotors. When you are flying the 600 or the 520 you add pedal.. nothing happens, so you add some more and all of a sudden you have to much which is why guys who fly MD500's or 530's go to fly one of these they don't stick with it.....
