@liznajarro This song IS about the book of Hosea, but not about the Church. Hosea is a prophetic book, Gomer represents Israel and how unfaithful the Jewish culture was to God. And YES, even though she WAS continually unfaithful (Israel/Gomer) He still forgave and would take her back (GOD/Hosea). It's a story about a marriage. Israel is the Bride of God, Gomer the bride of Hosea. =)
