To the racist bigot: Fuck off, you're out of line and you deserve to be persecuted the way many a black person has wrongly been.
To any non-Scots: Please don't take the bigot's comments to be indicative of the mentality of the nation as a whole.
To Bruce: On yersel. You schooled that ignorant fuck.

stew91gt - you are really the scum that infests you tube . Your comments are vile and disturbing and are clearly from the darkest depths of racist bile . " Fuck off back to Africa " ? What does that say about you ? Fuck off back to the stone you crawled from under . Look back at your comments and you will realise that you come across as a seriously deranged guy . Really fucked up . And I mean that .

@CaTheYowes I agree his delivery is a bit rapid at points, but I think M. Fummey conveys the drunken exuberance that is undoubtedly intended by Burns' extremely well. McClelland's delivery is rather safe, cosy and sober for my taste; vive la différence!

@sdenduma this man fuckin rules, proving burns beats shakespeare, had me in tears at 1 point (an am a scot)

Well lerned but a bit quick and SHOUTY. The best reciter of Tam O Shanter (and Scot's verse in general), Lionel McClelland, sadly died 4 weeks ago. To see a selection of his videos, please visit my channel, and you'll see the list 'Lionel McClelland 1957-2010'.

To my view just as bad as it gets (and it usually is not bad at all). To me delivered like a cross between a stand-up routine and a dire one man fringe show (perhaps a one man Moby Dick would be better for him). Also lots of mis-pronounciations to my mind. "queens" instead of "quines".

@cowgirlgaily1 grow up. who's 'white'?? not me. i may have skin pigmentation that people would call that, but too many people get on their high horses about the political correctness of skin colour, just like you did.
remember that when Ali G asked the question 'is it cos i is black?' the reaction to him was one of trying not to be offensive. and he's not!!
FYI, some of my friends are Chinese, Sikh and Muslim. i don't call them 'black' or 'brown' or 'yellow' and they don't call me 'white'.

Yeah good redition, shame it was from a black man though. I'll never get used to seeing non whites in kilts. Just wrong.

The kilt was originally worn in Egypt. Legend and history, as indicated in the Declaration of Arbroath, tells that we originated there in Egypt, descended from the Egyptian queen called Scota who travelled from Egypt; her descendants eventually arriving, via Ireland, in the northern part of this island and gave us our name. Africans in kilts - no probs, but a fuckwit like you wouldn't know about that. Go and find out about Scotland! All racism is based on ignorance and you are proof.
