Homeless Man Beaten

Two 18-year-olds were charged in the beating of a homeless man were held without bail after a dangerousness hearing April 14, 2010 in Worcester. More than a dozen minors were also involved in the beating. The beating was caught on videotape by a surveillance camera. Police said the man was repeatedly kicked and struck with a belt and pieces of concrete and was hospitalized for several days with head and facial injuries. Investigators said the man was beaten because he had been given about $40 to buy alcohol for the youths and had not bought them alcohol or returned their money,
