On The Esplanade - Cover of Julian Plenti (Paul Banks Solo)

Per usual, my pre-release cover of a Paul Banks work. This is one of my favorites...especially the lyrics at the end. Surrealistically disheartening.

I didn't do the picking the way he does it. I just don't think it works as well with a solo acoustic guitar.

It's just a d minor chord (pulling off the A to an open G in rhythm), and changing the bass note to F and A. Then there's a little G major part after the chorus. The ending is Dmaj7, F# minor, E major, and E major with a B bass note.
