oh man this is reminding me the Paris RERs

As you can see there are some wires aross the track.. Those wires are important. My dad put them in XD

@HelloWorld492 check their website and other sources for their TRs. they already have ATC except for 5381-5386 and 5391-5396.

@GordonFreemanD40 i doubt it

Automated systems: That's what the TTC is doing to improve service on the route. They will introduce new signalling and only need an operator for doors and DWA service. All new TRs except 5391-5396, and 5381-5386 can be driven automaically. they can just do it now if they want to.

oh yeah and Toronto's RT is way more better sounding than this, like it's really floating up in the air.
(The next station is Scarborough Centre, Scarborough Centre station)

Center rail/plate is actually the reaction rail which is what the Linear Induction Motor Reacts against causing the train to move. Creation of Electromagnetic field created by the motor mounted to the bottom of the train creates decent amount of heat and creates a bit of steam when it rains...All the power is carried through one of the 2 stack conductors that you see mounted on either side of the guideway . One is the power conductor and the other is ground....

@2stealth4u You're welcome, also in addition to the electrical hazards the LIMs contain perfectly aligned parts, stepping on them could damage them, same reason you see "NO STEP" printed on airplane flaps.
thats the frequency TTC subways operate during rush hours.

@GordonFreemanD40 It may be close but you can't run trains that frequent with the signal system they have in place now, they might run as many or more trains on the same stretch but there are still fixed areas inside of which only one train can be, this is not the case with an automated system.
