is this phone good for me im 13 and i just want a texting phone.....so is this phone only a buisness phone or will it be pretty easy for me to text??

This phone is good for the regular consumer and business consumer but I would suggest if you are just going to text and that's it is to get one of the non-smartphone advance device that Verizon offers.

can you use the web browser on this phone if you are within range of a wireless signal (i.e. my home wireless network) but do not have a verizon data package?

verizon requires a data plan for purchase. Maybe if you buy it at full cost you could get it without the data plan and use wifi.

But with smartphones if its not in your budget/ want to pay for a data plan then the phone isn't for you. Main idea of smartphones is to always be connected wherever you are if you're not in need of that I would suggest one of their high-end non-smartphones instead and a separate PDA only device (they are still around but definitely not as many as their used to be)

I'm switching from last year's AT&T Tilt (HTC) to this Verizon Touch Pro (HTC). Can I expect better 3G Network speed? Can I expect better speed on the interface itself ?

I have the LG Dare, it was a replacement to a stolen phone, and I just want something with buttons, or touch, or both, which brought me to this phone. Would this be a good phone? Just as long as I don't walk down that street again? lol
