Albert Jay Nock and H.L. Mencken give some insight into what the Agorist sees and what is his nature, before the term Agorist was even conceived

Agorist class theory which I believe largely follows Nocks view of state and society:

  • Nock definitely presents an agoristic perspective in that writting.

  • thats because Nock was a bad ass

  • He had some strange geolibertarian overtones though actually.

  • yea. that would be my only real gripe with him.

  • I love sex and liberty

  • Well, gentlemen, I want you to understand that I greatly sympathize for your philosophy. However, I feel that your statements regarding Rockwell are off base. I have been going to his sites for some time now.

I have never seen him say anything good about the state in any sense. Every single day, there are new blog posts and articles on his site that denounce the state. I even saw an article describing clearly how he would completely dismantle the government given the opportunity.

  • @TheAmericanAnarchist

How is Lew Rockwell too moderate? Isn't he an anarchist?

  • @nurbSoldier It would be dishonest. He'd still be fat though, and you'd still have to prove the pill did it...maybe it was placebo. Apples and oranges. I don't know a human being around me that would want to live in Somalia. I also don't think anybody wants corporations any more less accountable than they already are. We've seen what the last 30 years of corrupting government has gotten them. Why would we want to just take that out of the equation altogether?

  • @Antiks72 besides needing no further proof that anarchy worked for Somalia being that life improved there during its duration, another example would be if Bob the 600 pound person went down to 500 pounds because of a new pill

Would it not be dishonest to say "Bob is 500 pounds, that pill did not work on him!!"

  • @Antiks72 besides, all one has to do to prove that Solution A was better than Solution B for Situation X after both solutions being applied is to show the better results that came from both. The left and other statists conveniently leave this out of their arguments regarding Somalia.

  • @Antiks72, which would effectively be like where there are/were many smaller european countries like Switzerland, Monaco, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Belguim, etc. Very small armies that never bother anyone. Much more of Europe was like this prior to the end of the 19th century. Europe went through much more violence in the 2 world wars after many of the little nations merged.

With private armies, there would be even less war, because mercs don't needlessly throw themselves on their swords

  • @nurbSoldier well, other than it being a shithole, not really. Somalia doesn't equate to here. We have a unique culture here and things probably would be vastly different in an anarchy here. Just imagine every private company having their own private army like black water though.

  • @nurbSoldier by the way, which is a joke argument, considering that Somalia under absence of a state has overall improved than under the dictatorship that was in place immediately before

  • @Antiks72 are you going to throw the Somalia argument at me?

  • @nurbSoldier I've considered them, and know what unregulated madness would entail.
