I don't get why Loki is made evil. I have read all the stories in their original form (as the writer wrote them, no other language, no translation) and he is not evil but simply a trouble maker. And most of the time he gets the gods out of trouble again. But I think what marvel is doing is fun. Though it would be epic if they'd do the story when Thor dresses up as a women and marries just to get behind enemy lines and get back his hammer then kicks everyones ass just as he's say ' I do'.

@lephong Actually, if you read this comic, or watch this series, you will see that you're wrong, and Marvel's interpretation of Loki is perfect.

A very misleading trailer but a great series.

Spoiler: So can someone explain the ending to me. Does Thor kill Loki?
In ancient mythologies, there were no 'good' or 'evil'. There was peace and chaos. One was positive and benefited mortals. The other was not so positive, but still benefited morals. Just because Loki does random chaotic stuff doesn't mean he's 'evil'. It just means he's there to create the chaos needed for this world to exist. The Western concept of 'evil' came long after these ancient religions.

@Ikarosus butthere's evidence that those stories were later additions,so i wouldn't call them them part of the true mythos.whereas with greek mythology,it's very hard to tell wut is the original story line n they have diff. versions, due to it starting as oral traditions, so the stories might vary drastically possibly at the same time due to many people telling the story and having recounted it differently.w/ loki's story,it's become "mainstream" that he's evil bc its similar to christian stories
