Remembering: Rawhead Rex (1986)

Before the Cenobites, before Candyman ... there was Rawhead. Clive Barker wrote the script for this 1986 horrorfilm, which was directed by George Pavlou. The film features an ancient demon named Rawhead (Heinrich von Schellendorf), who awakes in a small town in Ireland and starts to kill (and eat) everyone he encounters.

In Remembering, The Springwood Slasher remembers some of those lesser known horror films and horror characters, which should not be forgotten.

I thought the movie sucked, but the story it's based on is awesome. I think this movie definitely deserves a quality remake. As long as they don't let Micheal Bay or Rob Zombie make it I'm sure it would be a hit.
