  • Actually Goulash is a soup in Hungary, a stew in the US and Canada.

    However Goulash is an ingredient spice and vegetable mix that is used to make either a soup or stew in various consistency.

    Hungarian paprika, bellpeppers, tomatoes, onions, garlic, celery, carrots and carraway. One can use any meat, fish, chicken, pork, beef, or no meet at all.

  • Gulyás is a soup. And you do NOT need a gulyás-cream to cook the soup, or the "pörkölt" what they are actually explaining.

    However still thx to the uploader... It is always nice to see that people like or beloved food.

  • This is not the Hungarian goulash, the goulash is a soup. This is a totally different food.

  • First of all,the Goulash is a soup so what you're making here is called porkolt(which is similar to something called STEW)Secondly this has nothing to do with goulash not even porkolt.Ask or learn from any Hungarian how to make goulash or porkolt,then practise it and just after show the world if you got skill,knowledge about it. MANY PEOPLE LIKE YOU have spread recipe they know nothing about.DON'T MAKE A SHAME ON AN ANCIENT,TRADITIONAL WORLD FAMOUS HUNGARIAN FOOD.YOU BETTER STAY AT STEAK,BURGER

  • For a Hungarian goulash, you do not need goulash creme and egg noodles. goulash have nothing to do with them nooles! How about a little red ground paprika? Without that, the goulash will never be goulash. Those huge pieces of onions look terrible...

    This food is not goulash...
