okie dokie, here it is. My first pole vid after hernial repair surgery about 3 months before. My splits aren't what I want since I didn't have my shoes on, but oh well. So it's a little choppy and I was too sweaty to hold my cartwheel, but you get the gist! And no, I didn't even attempt to do the trick that tore my ab muscle in the first place...learned my lesson!

I put this up to say there are really not many excuses to not do what you love. I am a 33 yr old mom of 3 with fibromyalgia, tendonitis, bursitis and probably more conditions I don't know about. oh yea, and I tore my abs, lol so no excuses ladies!! (and men!)

I'm using both brass and stainless platinum stages superpole.

  • Really good dancing! Congrats on doing it so soon after surgery. I bet even when the doc tells ya to its still hard to stay off that pole :)

  • thanks so much! I tore my abdominal wall open and hernatied after my mommy belly stuck (I had sticky stuff on it) on a knee tuck spin..my legs came around the pole and down to the ground, but my belly stayed on the other side of the pole! eek! total freak accident

  • That was a fantastic freestyle :) Strong and fluid, loved it! If you don't mind sharing, what move caused your injury??
