  • Corinna : " earthly muse " a greek ancient poetess (she had defeated Pindare 3 times) from Tanagra ; she played an ancient lute ( represented in a small Tanagra statue in the Louvre museum Paris). Corinna of the Latin poet Ovid (Amores, The art of love) his "Muse" under the false name of Corinna ( Terentia the young & beautiful wife of Maecenas or one of the two Julia linked to Augustus). Her song (words) is in Chapman's Ovid's banquet of sense.
