I'm 57 years old...got hooked on Slayer back in the 80's and have been addicted to metal ever since. Yes, I'm out of place at the live shows...and I won't go into the pit anymore cuz my bones are brittle...but once you taste true hard core metal you can NEVER go back from whence you came no matter how long you live!

When they were filming, it was in the year 2012, the year that the world was supposed to end. They probably titled the movie As The Palaces Burn as a reference to the prophesized downfall of humanity, because everything great that mankind created would be laid to waste.

Tell the pope that lol. Metal is very powerful but it doesn't have the wealth that many other religions shouldn't have backing it. Along with political power any style of music will never amount to the power that religion currently has. Fact. If you don't like it. I don't care. Freedom.
