Hipnautica Sky Interview @ SXSW 2011

A funny thing happened during my SXSW Digital Interactive visit in Austin. I found myself spending most of my last day with the lead singer from the "collective visual arts group", Hipnautica. He goes by the name of "Sky".

I ended up taking quite a lot of video footage but instead of just streaming one question session right after the other, I decided to only add certain parts of the interview.

I'll probably create another version of the interview at a later date.

Interestingly enough, I created a twitter account for Hipnautica (@HipnauticaMusic) that I hope Sky will continue to use.

OMG OMG, this is the most intimate and sincerely raw portrayals of my life I've ever seen, it's very surreal to have had this experience with you, I'm so honored by the treatment of this footage and our new friendship. I'm sure few people are ever comfortable looking at myself under such scrutiny but I have to say... you could not have caught and portrayed a more accurate version of who I am and why I do what I do in this world. And yes I'm using the new Twitter account all the time. lol
