No offense, but Rockabilly was, and is, a musical style. But for some reason, idiots like to boil it down to what they can "see", instead of working to become good at an artform. So everyone shows up looking like fashion fools and they call it "rockabilly". What a joke and a shame that people who actually had talent have to endure the "modern" fashion disaster called "rockabilly". Rockabilly used to be music, now it's bullshit make-up. Thanks---go get some talent, people.

I apologize, I had no idea about it even being a musical genre. I don't really know much about the "fashion" either except that it is inspired by a vintage sort of look. In any case, thank you for the information and I apologize if I have offended you with labeling my makeup look as such. I never use the term and meant it only loosely for this random look I did one day.

I like your technique but it is really hard to see the colors of your eyeshadow because of the yellow lighting....do you think you can re-do this look in non-yellow lighting? :)

I don't think you should be sorry to her. Rockabilly was made popular in the fifties hence the retro image assaciated with it. It is a genre, but it's really common for people to look what they listen to like punk clothing. or how lots of people who listen to ska wear black and white checkerboard kinds of stuff.
