Space shuttle Discovery lift off Friday August 28, 2009

Filmed outside my front door. I am approximately 72 miles from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. From here it was like a big firework going off that just kept going and going. You hear a deep popping sound just prior to seeing anything. The sky lights up as well prior to seeing the actual space shuttle.

Not the best footage, but cool that I can see these from my house. My home office looks out the front of my house and I can clearly see all the lift offs. This was the first night time one since I've been in Florida (or at least that I've followed) so I went outside for this.
