It is such a shame that Special Blend didn't take off, their only release (Nowhere But Up) was amazing! It was released in 1984, but it never really received public notice, so... Still, I am so glad that Mark Kibble and Claude McKnight were able to hold on to their musical aspirations and form into the musical wonder,Take 6, that we have today (well, one of the original members, Mervin Warren, left the group after the second album, and was replaced with Joey Kibble).

Yeah, Mark is a beast....he sounded better here then on the album and I did not think that was possible! The ENTIRE group sounded awesome! The harmony was spot on!
