Thanks to wasshammoud from wiihacks.com forums for the guide for the NSMBW burning and running. I just used the same method to get all the backups working on 4.2

This may work on other System menus, but i am not reccommending it. if you want to run this tutorial on a wii not running 4.2, DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK

Keep the files from the permanent SD folder on your SD card to keep Uloader working. hence the name

This methiod of softmodding DOES NOT WORK ON 2.0, 3.0, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, and 3.4. It MAY work on 4.0 and 4.1 with specific serial numbers, so if you have gotten it working on 4.0 or 4.1 please leave a comment or PM me saying so and remember to include the serial number aswell

You can play your backup games online, and Wiiconnect 24 can be turned on once the install is complete

If your having any problems with WAD manager (includes freezing when trying to install wads or getting error messages), try the WAD manager 1.3 as a homebrew app and not with bootmii

If your having any problems with cIOSrev15 (IOS 249) reinstall it then try again, if your still having problems, install cIOSrev13a. If your having problems with both make sure you still have wiiconnect24 off, also google around to find a cIOS WAD you can install aswell

If your trying to install cIOS 222 (any stage) make sure that wiiconnect24 is OFF.

Any DVD read (excluding -2) errors are the result of a bad DVD burn. Make sure you are using IMGburn and burning it to a DVD-r at 2.4X or 4X (reccommended that you use Vertabim or TDK discs).

Using USB NIC as your connection wont work, The connection MUST be over WiFI with Wiiconnect24 turned OFF. If you are having any sort of problem and your using a USB NIC then disconnect it and use WiFi

The error -2 is caused by loading the game with cIOS 222 instead of 249. in Uloader go to configure and select IOS 249. If you dont have the configure option, make sure you have installed the cIOSrev15 installer or the cIOSrev13a installer from the link above

If your wii was bought brand new (it will have a serial number higher than LU72) DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DO THIS. Nintendo have started using new processors and only wiis bought before october/november 09 will work. If you have had any problems and your wii is brand new, STOP WATCHING THIS VIDEO NOW AND WALK AWAY WHILE YOU STILL HAVE A WORKING WII!!! The ones above LU72 also have different disc drives that have trouble reading DVD-rs but may load off a USB

@wet250 make sure its burned at 4X and also try using cIOS249 in Uloader. those 2 i really cant stress enough

@SuperMastrMind must be in the format or something and youve burned to the disc. if its in an RAR format then extract it with the winRAR computer program. if its in many different parts then pick any part and extract it with winRAR aswell

@mad87645 I don't have the option to change the cIOS until it reads the disk, but it never reads the disk so i never get to the option. it tries to read it and says disc error. USB loader works fine, so I'm not all that concerned but I have gotten DVDs to work on another wii so its kinda bothering me.

@Raikomon yes you must leave the sd card in the wii to run the new channel

you can leave the temp folders on the sd card and just overwrite them as you add more, you dont have to delete stuff.

Do you have to always keep the sd card in the wii? Pls answer. Oh and when I put temp1/2 on the sd, do I remove permanent sd?
