  • . It is obvious, that your cultural knowledge is rather limited - anyone who produces and praise this movies as Senegalese culture, value, religion is naive, and an ignoramus my advice to you is to do some basic research and reading start with Dr. St. Claire Drake, then make a real educational and insightful documentary on African culture, religion and way of life.

  • I do not seek mere detail; I seek core, in-depth insightful testable data, and fundamental information. Define Africa as what she is, not what colonial France, England , the Dutch instill in her, nor what Arabs or Islamic invaders inducted.

  • PS: Africa had a its own culture before Colonial Europe (14th 20th century) and before Arabs invaders much early in the 2nd 12th century. Unfortunately most Black African are ignorant of this fact and sadly the educated Senegalese truly believe he is European, the uneducated ones believes they are Arabs

  • The movie was poorly put together; with no or little objective you are indeed a naïve and an ignoramus. Senegalese like most Africans were never given the opportunity to culturally and personally developed i.e. cultures, religious, philosophies, values, etc and due to western arrogances and ignorant like yourself and Arab intolerance and brutality most of Africans values, culture, religious halted. Brief .. . I wish you lucked though in your path to enlightenment.

  • Wow. You must not have watched the movie at all. Or know anything about Senegal in general. Sufi Islam is the main religion of Senegal, with about 95% of inhabitants practicing it(a fact which is stated in the movie). It has been this way for over a hundred years. It is not an Arab cause, It's a Senegalese cause. Think a bit before you post your ignorance on the internet.

  • I would have liked to see him worried about Darfur, corruption, misery, poverty, disease, the lack of education, violation of human rights in Africa and in his own Senegal- instead he thinks he is an Arabs. Damn this idiotic Charity Starts at home

  • When I show this cheaply made, horribly edited rubbish I became further and extremely disappointed with Youssou Ndour, I love his music, Afro-Caribbean music in general and have attended numerous shows however I was shocked and disappointed with this idiotic foolishness!!! What is wrong with this picture? Black Africans acting like Arabs, and/or care for Arabs causes. Well! How many Arabs give a damn or care about African causes?

  • Congrats, Ig

  • Congratulations in advance about the coming success of this film and its message.
