Sufi burial ceremony in the Chechen village of Mairtup
After some shots of the village, the video shows a collective trance ceremony, complete with a beautiful example of male polyphony, followed by a zikr (mystical ritual), accompanied by drums and in which the women of the village also take part(!). For their peculiar use of drums, these Chechen dervishes have been called "barabanshchiki" (drummers) by the Russian ethnographers.
Rough footage from my next movie "A Chechen Confession". The film will have as a pretext my experience in Chechnya and it will decrypt the most common myths about the Chechens, including the widely accepted one about their supposed presence among anti-Western Islamist fighters in Afghanistan and Iraq.
It is also a presentation of the traditional Chechen brands of Sufi Islam, with all the pagan, pre-Islamic elements that it still contains.
For the Sufis, the Great Jihad is the fight against one's own ego. The Little Jihad is the less important fight against the infidels.
The Chechen language, together with the tongues from neighboring Daghestan, form a totally isolated family of languages, resembling no other languages in Europe or Asia.

  • Sahih Al-Bukhari, a collection of Hadith, says that a true Muslim should wipe their ass with stones. Does that mean Muslims in the 21st century should wipe their asses with stones? If you think so, then maybe you should go wipe your ass with a stone and leave decent right-thinking people alone. Stupid Wahhabi f*cks.

  • You stupid f*cks going on about Abu Bakr told Yusuf Ali Ben Gaba told Ali Salami Baloney that it is Haram to breathe out of your left nostril at 2pm on a Sunday etc. Nobody with sense gives a sh*t. Every major world religion has been blended with ancient practices and beliefs. These people, and every people on Earth was happy long before you stupid motherf*ckers took it upon yourselves to tell them how to live. These beliefs and practices are perennial and will live on long after you are dead.

  • Beautiful charismatic Chechen people)))))) Love Chechnya))))))

  • Do not grieve. Misfortunes will happen to the wisest and best of men. Death will come, always out of season. It is the command of the Great Spirit, and all nations and people must obey. What is past and what cannot be prevented should not be grieved for ... Misfortunes do not flourish particularly in our lives - they grow everywhere.

  • This is haram for a true Muslim so these men must be kaafirs.

  • @manhajalsalaf Your head hurts because you cant comprehend it. They're not dancing on the grave, or in the graveyard, it is courtayrd of some household. Dancing and singing has been done in the time of the Prophet by the Habeshi tribe in Mosque of Nabi, in the presence of Rasool and Aisha r.a. Theay sang "Muhammadun Abdun Salih". That hadith is hasen, and you can find it. So stop wahabie fitnah here, your end is coming soon, maybe this year even, Inshallah!

  • @88BMNN You dont know difference between dhikr and salah. There is nothing more to say to you.

  • @JediSuperWarrior Well you can find doing salah in the Quran and sunnah aswell.. But if my salah is jumping and dancing like an idiot it will not be from islam.. even if I say it is a salah/namaz and bring evidance from the quran.. You'r fault is you interprent the quran and the sunnah as YOU wish while we should understand islam as the prophet and the sahabah or the salaf. So go ahed interprent the quran and the sunnah as you wish..it is not my problem on the day of qiyyamah.

  • Zikr in HADITH:

    Sahih Muslim

    Book 4, Hadith Number 1211:

Ibn ‘Abbas reported: Zikr (mentioning the name of Allah) in a loud voice after obligatory prayers was (a common practice) during the lifetime of the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) ; and when I heard that I came to knew that they (the people) had finished the prayer.

  • @88BMNN ,so you think doing ZIKR Is misguidance? I can see that you have not read the Quran or read Hadith properly.Allah orders us to do ZIKR in Quran:

“…Practice Zikr of Allah very much.” (Quran, 33: 41)

“And certainly the Zikr of Allah is of the highest degree (akbaar).” (Quran,29:45)
