An overview of the Marbles Bolo Machete.

This machete is made by Imacasa, in El Salvdor. It features a 14 inch 1075 carbon steel blade, 2.5mm thick. It retails between $11 and $15 without a sheath. There is a nice quality nylon sheath that is available for this model too.

You can find this and other machete on machetespecialist

  • hmmm looks like a great machete.. except im not too sure about the slight back cut on the machete i find it a little strange to have something like that on a machete

  • @KonstantinKuehn

yeah i thought so too. Its much easier to dull an edge with a file than have to make one though.

  • @camerl2009 yeah, sure, you could sand it off, maybe use a power sander, or a belt sander if you want to go at it faster, but if it's carbon steel, it's more likely to rust if you take off that finish

  • do you think that paint could be removed easy i dont like it

  • @calibanvideo it can be used for a number of things skinning, scraping and it makes a better weapon if its needed to be used in that way

  • how would you compare it to a cold steel or a condor Golok

  • great video, did not know these were also Imacasa blades.

  • I'm buying the bowie one

  • Damn, remind me not to cut my jugular on that false edge.

  • dang just bought a small bolo for 9$ from a hardware store looks like i should of waited this seems to be of much better quality.

  • @jeepzillajoe yeah i agree with that.. i hear that i agreed to sharpen a friends machete that he just bought and it has nooooo edge. completely square and im still working on it with my file its a complete pain
