hi there, my names jess and i work at sea world in orlando. i work with the orcas there and i used to be like you. my dream started when i was just 9 and i kept at it and gave my all for it. i moved from my hometown in london up too florida all on my own when i was just 18. and your video is inspiring. so i am leaving a comment cause i beleive you can do it if you just beleive. its an amazing experience and i wouldnt change my life now with the whales for the world. good luck! u can do it!!!!!

@ljbananza I'm sure you can do it! =] I may end up changing my major to psychology because I know that is good for marine mammal training, but I'm not sure yet. And yeah I need to be scuba certified as well. And I need to be certified in CPR and whatnot. lol But I'm sure we can both do it. =]

It's awesome that you overcame your fear of being in the water and it's also great that you want to be a dolphin trainer. I've been enchanted by orcas ever since my first visit to Sea World Orlando when I was 6. But in 2008, after watching the orca show Believe, I decided that I wanted to work with orcas as an orca trainer.
The biggest challenge I need to face is convincing my parents that become an orca trainer is what I want to do in the future. My dad is too logical to understand my dream....

When I grow up I will be an aquarium veterinarian.(: I have been wanting to be this since I was in the fourth grade. I haven't changed my mind, and don't plan to. I am willing to do ANYTHING to make my dream job come true. ...and another challenge I need to overcome is well, I'm not athletic and I have a hard time speaking in pubic. But, I'm in my school's music/drama department so I'm working on it. For not being athletic, I need work on that. To be a trainer at Sea World you need to pass a rigorous swim test. I can work on swimming at home, but these three challenges are hard to overcome for me. & your video, I swam with Dexter the dolphin on my 15th birthday last year! i think that is really good that you want to be a dolphin trainer i recently decided that i might want to be one to the problem is i also want to be a vet if i were a dolphin trainer i would have to move to florida because were i live we don't really have any thing like that and also i herd that it is a hard field to get into due to the fact that there arrant many openings

@3595brittany if you really want to do it, you just have to go for it! yes,its an extremely hard field to get into; but whats the fun if you get everything handed to you?! lol with much determintation you could get it. and you can be both!well sort of, you could be a aquatic veterinarian :) I believe that is what karen59923 wants to be :)
