Great photos! I love this walk. Grisedale was my first attempt at fell walking, back in 1969. I got as far as the arrete just a few yards from the summit. The wind was so strong that i had to lie flat, but still couldn't make the summit! I threw a fist sized rock in the air and it just flew sideways! Visited several times since tho with success. That climb, unbeknown to me at the time, and for many years, was the beginning of a mission that saw me complete the Wainwrights in Sept 2004.

Grisedale is one of my favourites as well.
My first effort was less demanding. I went up Loughrigg from Grasmere in 2006 and caught the fellwalking bug.
I have only just arrived home after completing the Wainwrights on 11 September 2009 when I went up Scafell Pike.
