Instructions for holding a flag retirement ceremony as a scout service project. Instructions for proper disposal of both US and UN flags is explained. This video was made as part of an eagle scout project for James Peterson of the Far East Council at Yokota Air Base in Japan.

  • @sexycutiegurl @obamasucksdick99 As stated in the video, the manner with which unservicable flags are to be retired is stated in the USC. The Military, Boy & Girl Scouts, VFW & American Legion are some of the better known organizations that perform this duty with due respect, however the law doesn't restrict who may retire an unservicable flag. Anyone may. The KEY verbage is that it is done "...in a dignified way..." One should take care to ENSURE it won't be mistaken for desecrating the flag.

  • @Sexycutiegurl The Police, Firefighters, Boyscouts of america, VFW, and the american legion are the the only people authorised to retire the flag

  • question, Can anyone do this or just the BSA and American Legion?
