ugh...the constant background music loop annoys me. it just feels like an amateurish clone of cgr. hope these get better.

If I'm not mistaken that's the old standard 9-pin controller port. Could you use other controllers like the Genesis pad, like you can with the Atari and Colecovision? (assuming a game doesn't require the number pad)

@AWriterWandering I have yet to try it, but it could be possible. the only problem is ALL Intellivision games require the keypad to start a game - you typically have to enter how many players and what skill level first before a game starts. And that disc controller isn't exactly a D-pad, so I'm not sure how well that'll translate.

Does the Intellivoice work with this or is it built in the II?

@TheInsanemonkeyboy Yes, the Intellivoice works on it but when it's all plugged in it looks like a rather ugly setup.

@bsilver887 You're right its too repetitive. Even worse is how only the speech comes out of the right channel and background music out of the left. It's nit-picking but it's amateurish, no doubt.

@fred7699 well, can you blame him? I admit the loop is a little annoying sometimes, but bsilver887 basically insulted his theme music, his video style, called him an amateur...wouldn't you be ticked off at that? If you don't like it, leave it. I think that is nice here. Perhaps he was just grumpy when he wrote that comment.
