The critics are complete idiots. It's because of the huge success it had in the 90's, and to listen to this cheesy romantic music about two young souls falling in love on a sinking boat is not cool today. James Horner is one of the best composers of film music out there. James Cameron is one of the greatest blockbuster director there is and Titanic is one of the greatest blockbusters of all time. Because of the extreme success it had it became an "object" to hate. It's still made of dreams.
