How to clean a Trex composite deck. I used CorteClean deck wash to clean this deck. After you have built your deck , I recommend cleaning your deck at least twice per year to keep it looking good and to help prevent mould and mildew. Some decks should be cleaned more often depending on your environment. Always follow the directions on the Corte Clean package and the care and cleaning guidelines for the decking product you may have on your deck. I have cleaned my Trex deck using the cleaners they recommend. The deck is visibly mold free for about 6-8 weeks. It's the worst product ever. I have used Expert Chemical Composite Cleaner, Corte Composite Cleaner, and Olympic Premium Deck Wash. In every instance I followed the directions to the letter. In all cases the mold comes back.

I wish I only had to wash my deck twice a year. Do not buy Trex. It's more to maintain this product than real wood. Plus it looks like garbage.
