    This is correct.

    There are a lot of similarities in the games for sure.

    But, officially Amplitude if the only sequel to Frequency.

    One of my favorite games on the PS2.

    I can't even begin to recall the amount of hours I put into it. But, I do know that I put enough time and energy into it to unlock the Halo for my FreQ.

    Wasn't DJs in bands largely an early 90s thing? KMFDM, Big Audio Dynamite, Information Society and dozens of other popular bands between 1989 and 1994 had that record scratching, acid basslines and electric guitars thing going on. And it kinda died when copyright infringement was elevated to something punishable by death, leaving only Kanye West able to afford paying the royalties.
