Reviews
The Irish Times
dashing and visceral, capable of both searing noise gymnastics and more subtle, nuanced atmospherics. Impressively, unlike many of their peers, the musicianship can actually sustain such an ambitious arc

Sunday Tribune
complex and experimental, 'Sound To Light' is a surprisingly profound and cinematic piece of work

Hot Press
anyone fed up with the staid nature of contemporary Irish rock should welcome Channel Ones debut album

Nialler9.com
the whole album flows wonderfully the production is faultless too

State.ie
gift-wrapped and fully-formed as the countrys premier techno rockers

Le Cool magazine
live, they create an epic wall-of-noise sound with layers of guitar, tempered by strange vocals and mechanized noize. On record a more delicate sensibility emerges

Entertainment.ie
Channel One break the mould by softening their post-rock vibe with carefully implemented electronica, hazy vocals and oddly soothing distortion

  • @NoOtherMedicine What a great song and fab band! I've discovered them just about 15 mins ago while looking for "contemporary irish rock". Thanks God for YT! :) The intro reminds me a bit of some track (don't remember its title) from Tortoise's TNT album.

  • great album lads
