I don't understand the hate for him going into City. I'm a United fan and Hargreaves fan as well, and I certainly glad he sign up for City.Try to understand what he's gone through. He tried his best to stay at United, but he's not needed. He wants to play football. City offered him a chance. He might not play, but training and perhaps playing with some reserve games will enable him to continue doing what he loved, which is playing football. That beats staying at home and making youtube videos.

Cant believe people cannot just wish the best for this man! After the time he has had missing what could have been the peak of his career through injury, I dont care where he plays I just hope he stays injury free for the rest of his football career. It must be a nightmare rehabbing for such a long period of time only to have it happen all over again! And yes he did offer to play for free at United, which shows his determination just to play the sport that he loved. Great Vid sby the way fitba!

We are down to the bare bones of our midfield this year and he buggered off to City to compete against 900 other midfielders they have there for ridiculous transfer fees and huge contracts. City have offered him nothing. I wouldn't have minded if he had taken up an offer at Stoke or wherever. But this is just greed and laziness. And City have just proven again they have no long term plans, just endless cash and a mindless transfer policy.

I'm a United fan as well. And I do have a problem with him going to city. He's been on a £60,000 a week contract for two years without playing a single game due to injury. You talk about not needing him, he was one of the best defensive midfielders in the world. It's no coincidence that we won the Champions League the season he was fit. That man should have played for us for free after the contract we paid him.
