Workers at Japan's Fukushima plant say the ground under the facility is cracking and radioactive steam is escaping through the cracks. The cooling system at the plant failed after the devastating tsunami hit Japan in March, sparking a nuclear crisis. But new evidence suggests that Fukushima reactors were doomed to cripple even before the massive wave reached them. RT's Anissa Naouai talks to Dr. Robert Jacobs, a Professor at the Hiroshima Peace Institute.

I agree! But what is really odd is that the nuclear industry never makes a profit and could not carry on without government money. If the governments never interfered in the production of energy no one would invest in nuclear power because it cost too much money.

I can tell prof.Yamashita that a new hot spring, where radioactive steam comes out in Fukushima nuclear plant, would be suitable for his own health improvement. I believe this news delights him as he has just moved to Fukushima from Nagasaki.

Pretty suspicious that both Robert Bowman and Robert Jacobs both jews were so heavily involved in the Fukushima power plants. Trying to sell that the ractors were already doomed because the Tsnami is not really the cause and they are scrambling to explain how Reactors went into meltdown due to the Stuxnet Virus was used to disable the safety systems and cooling pumps Yes like 911 this was a Mossad operation.

from what i understand, and its horrifying trust me when i realized it I thought to myself OMFG, but this steam holds radionuclides. So i guess this is now an endless radionuclide producing steam engine? I hear the water is what keeps it in critical state no? the Corium is in a place we cant reach... so until it explodes and releases HUGE amounts of radiation into the atmosphere, it will just release some as steam forever until something happens to the critical mass?

I'm japanese living in tokyo, thank you for Russian Today information about Fukushima.

In japan, in major media they say nothing of what's happening Fukushima now.

Goverment and Tepco control medai from real information.

in order that many people feel safe about radiation level. In fuksuima city there're a lot children doing ordinally life with high level radiation. Like Chris Busby said, within 200km

a lot children will be having cancer. That's tragedy.

Never buy Japanese biorobots! Buy Russian ones!

very strong ,easy to program, half-life guarantee !!!

By now we know the Russians tried so hard

they gave everything they had, to minimize the radiation spread.

I hope Japan will show its strength soon.

my deepest respect to the Russian and Japanese workers.

People LIKE that there are still news agencies that inform us about the truth and not about economic interests. (You won't see these kinds of videos coming from CNN, Fox, NBC, etc).

So now since theres radioactive steam does that mean that theres even more radiation spreading at a greater rate before around the planet?

The radiation levels -- 10,000 millisieverts per hour -- are high enough that a single 60-minute dose would be fatal to humans within
