And the call he made to Damon. It wasn't a " Help me, Klaus got Elena" call, I think it was more of a "Klaus took Elena. Be ready for the plan"

I can't standit when people say things like "He didn't even do anaything! He just let her go"
Of course he let her go. It's part of the plan. For it to work, Elena HAD to go with Klaus.
And at the beginning, you can see that Stefan doesn't want to let her go. He was ready to fight against Klaus annd Elena made him come back to his senses. Whatt would you have him do?
