I love Katie. But she can't touch Bobbie Gentry's version of this song. Bobbie was a fantastic singer just like Katie. Would have loved to hear Bobbie sign Shy Boy.
My two favorite singers. Bobbie was magical. Katie is pure bliss.

The Few things I find wrong about her singing this song are only, Reba makes her own version of this song which makes it a great song to listen to, with alot of enthusiam. But this version sounds just like Bobbie Gentrys from years ago, and she doesnt emphasize her voice enough, and she let her vocals trail off.

As far as i know the original version is from Bobbie Gentry (1970) which was covered by Reba McEntire in 1990.
