I've never owned a bird before but i can tell you she didn't mean to do it, birds and other animals can sense when you're scared. My iguanas sleep with me (3 of them) when i have a nightmare or get scared and iggy 6yo ig. She will bite (more like nibble) on my ear to kind of calm my nerves, your bird might've sensed you were having a bad dream or something or that you got scarred thats just my opinion but hey i know much about birds...nice video by the way and awesome bird you got, trying to ado

Great video.... Although I don't encourage her, Jasmine likes to find bo-bo's & free them of any scab.. Guess they are just cleaning us like they clean each other...
My additional thoughts:
* This is a lifetime commitment of providing nonstop variety of toys which can be homemade or store bought.
* Birds aren't meant to be in cages day in & day out... If you are rarely home, this IS NOT a pet for you. They need daily interaction.
My owner thinks I'm about 20 and he's my third caretaker. Only I know and I'm not say'in.
There's a good reason you are not supposed to trust a bird around your eyes.

My Blue and Golds insist on feeding me regurgitated bird seed lol. You are very right about them being a lifetime commitment. And it is like having a perpetual toddler. But damn if I don't love them!
