"Fear my archer" LOL!

Really? Only 1 tile would benefit from Agriculture? Interesting, and thanks for the good tip. I get the push for Writing as the best path toward Great Scientists. And that was a very nice job sealing off as much of your peninsula as you could. It still seems a small area, but not on Immortal, I guess. You’re way doing the best with it that can be done, as far as I know.

Can anyone here win Civ 4 on deity level.....the highest level? Is it possible?

settling on the bananas pissed me off for no reason

the buttons on top of the minimap
How does it come that you see those circles with for example bananas in it? You can see from a distance that there are bananas over there, and gems over there. Is there a option to see those circles? They come in very handy i think.

How do you make a science city?

You use a high commerce slider + commerce + science buildings, or you use scientist specialists, representation, and the science buildings.
Non rep specialists are weak except for their GPP (which can of course make up well over half your tech rate for the first half of the game if you have a good city for it).
