Thanks to Etho, his channel is here: http://www.youtube.com/user/EthosLab

Thanks also to A Neo Irony, the thread is here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=1020&t=118031#p1709778

You can see this cannon and others at this thread: http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=1020&t=115893

This TNT Cannon has 4 variables for delay, and holds up to 20 TNT for propellant. The delay allows for 1 button operation. You decide what range you want to fire, flip a few levers, load your propellant, load your warhead, and press a button. This allows for much more reliable timing, which leads to more accuracy by an experience operator. I've personally been able to maintain accuracy at an excess of 200 meters and as little as 25 meters.

  • Can you make a tutorial how to make this?

I know how redstone works and i have made some good structures myself but it would still be alot of help if you could make it. It's hard to percieve the whole thing because its in many layers. (or then im just slow at the moment 'cause i just woke up lol) :D

  • @rad4Ri I'd probably be better at explaining it through text, tbh.

  • Props to Etherimp for figuring this all out. The variable timer is very cool and should be implemented into all sophisticated cannon builds. Even after he had it all wired, I stared at it for like 30 minutes, and I still couldn't understand it until he explained it to me.

Good job on the design and the videos. Clear and detailed all the way. =)

  • @AEtherimp I calculated how much is the delay of the torches in seconds(yeah was bored to death) and found out it was 0.22 seconds.5 torches=1 second.I made the simplest of cannons with just 3 blocks of TNT for boost with a 3 second delay(15 torches)and it worked out quite cool!

  • @AEtherimp ah finally, finally i have it! :D

after 2 weeks of on/off making it i finally have it!

i watched this video like 15 times and now that i have it i understand why you said that its simple, because it is really simple after all :D

but thank you so many for this video

  • I watched this video 4 times before i finally understood... good job on the cannon

  • i understand how you can switch delays now!
