Assassin's Creed Combo Kills Tutorial and Montage

Note: You don't need to hold the attack button after every attack, I just think it helps.

Additional details on how to do this:
-Press the attack button once. Note whether the enemy's weapon slides off yours, bounces off yours, or if the enemy doesn't block at all.

-If you here a "clang" sound and the weapon bounces off, you can initiate a combo kill. Immediately after you here the sound and/or see the white flash on the screen, press and hold the attack button until he attacks again. Repeat until he dies or a kill cutscene initiates. (In other words, every time you hear the sound/see the sparks and stuff, PRESS AND HOLD the attack button.)

-If your blade slides off, it means you were attacking at the same time he was. Attack him again until you get the bounce-off block, and follow the steps above.

-I'm not sure if you can do the combo kill if you hit the enemy while his guard is down...

After 1:53 is just a combo kill compilation and a funny extra kill at the end.

@herambbarve no actually i did a somewhat "low-profile" kill by holding the empty-hand key (shift for pc) and walking around him until i eventually pushed him off the edge. its an awesome way to kill people : )

Is Altiars sword from AC1 the same as the one named "Old Syrian Sword" in AC2?

@TheFlowMeister If you mean the silver Altair's sword in AC1 (second one you get), then no because you get that sword in AC2 last and it is the best sword in that game

@ImForCoffee Probably, counter-kills count as a skill obtained with rank and it´s only unlocked after your first three or so major assassinations (can´t remember exactly how many you need but you get your counter-kill skill fairly early on in the game). But since this is a week-old reply, u probably already unlocked them by now...

I like Altair kinda went rogue against his master, along with few others, even though they knew they might have to kill a few brothers to kill their master for deceiving them. Altair is a more badass than Ezio
