It is not possible to break Gretzkys #'s the game has just become to good all around it can't be done. That said Crosby is the best producing player but I think personally that Datsyuk has the most unbelievable skill set anyone has ever seen but with that said Crosby blows my mind too but if I was an NHL GM there is no question you go Crosby over Datsyuk

Sidney Crosby is the best player in the world. When Wayne gretzky played it was open ice hockey but he is and always will be the great one. but crosby is still learning and as he gets older he gets better. So Crosby is the next gretzky, Connor McDavid is the next Crosby.

they said the same thing about tavares , they said the same thing about crosby , the next great one wont come into the nhl for many many years . what gretzky did is almost impossible to duplicate , and i dont see it happening any time soon ,. wish the kid luck though !
