It's funny, my Grandmother was from Estonia, and spoke the language until she was 9- after speaking German for the rest of her life, she tried to re-learn Estonian, and found it difficult, even though it was her first language!

@xkawaiixkunoichix Tänan is really formal, usually you just use "Aitäh"
