great vid!!
-
sweet video man, congrats! Keep it up!

I found the frame to be fine - check out the 2005 Bethel Spring Series Final clip I posted. Having said that, I recently bought a Cannondale SystemSix frame/bike. We'll see how it goes.
-
What do you think of the frame set? Is it too soft that it doesn't respond to acceleration? Because that's what some reports said.
-
Race was 30 laps, about 30 miles. Avg speed was around 28 mph.
-
Thanks! I bought it as a frame set - I believe that as a bike it was available with Ultegra. Giant TCR, not the Advanced. Components are Campy 10s, Record or Chorus drivetrain, Ultegra brakes, Reynolds DV 46T wheels.

I like your Giant, what level of TCR is it?

Congrats, man.
how'd you do in 08?

08 got 9th in the race, third in CT. Not as well as I'd hoped. No cam though, but maybe at the July 13 race.

Excellent! You don't often get to see that point of view, thanks for posting it. Coverage of the Pro-Tour would be a whole lot better if there were small helmet cams or handlebar cams for feeding back to the TV like in motor racing, the bunch looks a lot different from the outside than what it is on the inside. I'm sure there'd be domestiques that wouldn't mind carrying the little bit of extra weight, especially on the flat stages.

I think it would be great to see a helmet cam type view in a crit or in the final part of a road race. But on long climbs or long stretches of race where the field is strung out, it's not that interesting. I got the camera setup so I could show friends/family that don't race what it's like. Glad you enjoyed it.
