This is the wedding version of my "Ceremonial Music for Brass and Organ". It was commissioned in 2000 by musicologist Esther Crookshank, the Ollie Hale Chiles Professor of Church Music and director of the Academy of Sacred Music at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, for her wedding to Robert Crookshank. It was performed as the processional at their wedding in the 1600 seat Alumni Memorial Chapel of the seminary on 30th June 2001.

The version in this video is scored for four trumpets, four trombones, and organ. The 113-rank, 6562-pipe Aeolian-Skinner organ in the chapel was the largest south of the Mason-Dixon line when the organ was completed in 1963.

The piece can also be purchased in an arrangement for brass quintet and organ.

(The sound track is from a video tape of the wedding so the sound quality is not perfect.)
