Off the "Meet Glen Campbell" album and performed on AOL sessions. The song itself was written by Jackson Browne when he was only 16. It's a great choice for Glen to put on the album and an excellent live performance.

Dear God he has a beautiful tenor. I'm going to have to track down this whole session. I was so sorry to hear of his struggle with Alzheimer's, like most of the greatest artists he will sadly not be fully appreciated until he is gone. God bless you Mr. Campell and thank you for so many gorgeous songs. They are the soundtrack of my life. You are a genius of the kind that is sorely lacking these days.

It's almost incredible to think that this song was written by Jackson Browne when he was just a kid with so little life experience...any yet, when sung by Glen Campbell, it seems to so accurately, beautifully and painfully describe the reducing effect of ageing on a man who so epitomised strength, optimism, beauty and talent throughout his life...a wonderful and touching performance by a truly great artist
