How do i buy it?? im on there website and they are asking me for a product code when i go to buy it... WTF??? Its making me really frustrated!! I want this fucking game so bad, i played a 14 day trial back when you could and it was amazing, i only played for 2 weeks and nothing can get my adrenaline pumping like this game could. Well this and eve online. But i just watched all 3 lord of the rings movies and i'm in the mood for swords instead of spaceships.

i played this game for like 1h. after running like a idiot all over the place and swimming in water i decided to uninstall it. I understand the idea of going for human skill other than game char but having no arrows or anything to indicate where the f i am going sucked.

I was in the days of the beta thou it might be better now...

The ONE THING you must remember with Darkfall is that LOOT IS NOT SUPER-RARE like in other mmorpg's. Slay 100 Mercians in PvE for instance and you'll get something like 100 melee weapons, 30 bows, 20 bits of armour, food etc. Crafting is also very productive. I have some thing like 20 sets of good armour (scale/plate) in bags ready to grab from the bank vault, plus more weapons than I can count.

Kill stuff, loot stuff, have fun.

Will the class system added in Darkfall 2 mess with the skill system in anyway?

WoW is for themepark kids with out the skill to actually fight. You stand there pressing hot keys while your toon auto attacks everything you click on. I can tell just by your typing that you wouldn't last ten minutes in Aegon.

Bullshit pvp is as hard as your opponents skill level wow has huge playerbase so the level of high end arena pvp is way harder and im talking official not private servers ive played loads of mmos man loads and i can tell you wow pvp at least in tbc was super balanced high skill play like lol now is

Shields and dodging have worked well for me. You can see the arrows coming and get out of the way fast enough. (At least. I can.) I haven't played GW2, yet. I'll check it out eventually.

What I meant is that if I like swords I can't jump into battle cause I will get shot down before I even get to anyone, the game is already based on shooting and kiting, not melee combat.

Not really comparing it to WoW, its completely different combat mechanics, targetting is different.

But I play GW2 now and its amazing, you should try it ;)

I hate to break it to you, but LIFE is a first person shooter. In Darkfall, if you don't want to get hit by magic you can just PFFTHHTT. Step out of the way. Like if someone is throwing rocks at me.. I can... not let them do that anymore? In WoW, even if you run away like 50 feet from a mob, they're still hitting you because of the TBS combat. Darkfall is more real than WoW in that sense. You should look up Wurm Online if you want medieval realism.

Yeah true what you say. WoW is an "easier game" I just meant like high end heroic dungeons, or high rating arenas get hard, but if your a casual player you will still be able to play fairly easy.

The only thing I didn't like about Darkfall that I never liked magic, and in the end those big battles you just see people shooting magic balls. It kinda started becoming more of a fps than a medievel gameplay combat :(
