Obama Declares Iraq War Victory

Barack Obama's plan for Iraq troop redeployment suggests that he believes the Iraqi military can take over for US forcesw and therefore, that Boama belives the USA has won the Iraq War.

Obama didn't even visit the troops in Iraq, even when he spent tax-payer dollars to fly over there. Obama wouldn't admit that the troop surge was a sucess when he was interviewed. Since McAin supported the surge, it would make him look bad.

Ironic that by not addressing the Surge, and perhaps by not visiting the troops, Obama has looked bad. The Gallop Poll has Obama with a slight 1 point lead. Another Poll has McCain up by a point.

Now, when you watch the news, read the Paper, internet, etc.. Is that the race the News Media is describing?

I think not. And quick Triva question: Who was the last Candidate to be reported on as "Sure Thing" to win the White House?

A: Hillary Clinton.

Less oil + more taxes on oil consumption = higher gas prices. Get it through your skull, just because he's a democrat doesn't mean he's the best choice if gas prices are your concern. To USSLIBERTY1, Yes I know McCain is a better choice for president. He supports off-shore drilling, victory in Iraq, which is now more secure than ever thanks to the troop surge that Obama voted against, plus the guy was a POW for a longer time than Obama was a Senator. Do you know that Obama hasn't even been a Senator for one complete year? Do you honestly beleive Obama can understand a damn thing the generals tell him when they lay out the map for him at the Pentagon?
